Horizon West Branch Library runs Puppet Boot Camp, a five-part family series about making and performing with puppets; families can come to a single session or the whole series. Sessions in the window are Saturday mornings from 10:30 to 11:30: November 14 (puppets for video), December 5 (shadow puppets), December 12 (string puppets) and January 2, 2027 (a Family Puppet Slam where participants perform). Registration is required for each session and seats are limited — only 3 remained for November 14 on October 20. Recommended for families with school-age children who like crafts and performing.
