In November, Orlando Science Center's KidsTown Mini Maker sessions look at how people use symbols to communicate, inspired by the patchwork patterns Seminole tribes use to tell stories and represent ideas. Young children work on a short hands-on make in KidsTown on Level 2, the museum's area for its youngest visitors. Sessions run at 2:00 and 3:30 p.m. on November 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 and 29, 2026, and last about 30 minutes. Included with general museum admission; drop in at session time. A good fit for Native American Heritage Month for preschoolers and early-elementary kids with a grown-up.
