In this version the Big Bad Wolf plays Ebenezer Scrooge and is visited by the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, each played by a storybook character, while Cinderella, Prince Philip, Hansel and Gretel help him learn what the holiday is about. The mash-up of fairy tales and Dickens keeps the story light and funny for preschoolers while older siblings catch the jokes. Performances are mostly at 10 am on two December weekends, with an extra 1 pm show on the opening Saturday, which makes it an easy morning outing before lunch in downtown Pitman. Tickets are low-cost reserved seats, so families can book a whole row for a playgroup or grandparents. ## Similar picks in Philadelphia - [A Christmas Carol — Walnut Street Theatre for Kids](https://grassyknees.com/philadelphia/activities/a-christmas-carol-walnut-street-theatre-for-kids--listing-7f592bda5ec273d9cd3981eb) — Dec 5 – Dec 20 · Walnut Street Theatre · Paid · checked Oct 16.
