Organizers bill it as Bucks County's largest turkey trot and a family-friendly holiday event: every runner and walker gets jingle bells for their shoelaces, costumes and ugly holiday sweaters are encouraged, and there are prizes for costume categories. The kids' run goes off first at 10 am, so young children can finish and then cheer on parents in the longer races. Registration, packet pickup, bathrooms and the costume contest can move indoors if it is cold, and the after-party has a DJ, hot chocolate with whipped cream and food. Finishers receive a medal. The race sold out in 2025, so register early; proceeds go to the Bucks County Opportunity Council. ## Similar picks in Philadelphia - [Elves for the Shelves 5K, Walk and Half-Mile Fun Run — Radnor Memorial Library](https://grassyknees.com/philadelphia/activities/elves-for-the-shelves-5k-walk-and-half-mile-fun-run-radnor-memorial-li--listing-cb4e194e8e1fc4e78b61dbd3) — Sat, Dec 5 · 8:00 AM · Radnor Memorial Library, Wayne · All ages · From $20 · checked Oct 27.
