The story follows the Grinch, watching the Whos of Who-ville celebrate from his mountaintop with a heart two sizes too small, as he plots to stop Christmas until an unexpected act of kindness changes his mind. Based on the animated special and the children's book, the show mixes familiar characters, comedy and sing-along songs, and works for school-age children who know the story as well as for grandparents who grew up with it. Weekend matinees at 2 pm suit younger children; evening shows start at 7 or 8 pm. The theater sits on South Broadway in downtown Pitman. Seats are reserved, so buy in advance through the theater's website or box office. ## Similar picks in Philadelphia - [A Christmas Carol: The Musical at the Milburn Stone Theatre](https://grassyknees.com/philadelphia/activities/a-christmas-carol-the-musical-at-the-milburn-stone-theatre--listing-93748ca3b3fb62bfb3a9bfab) — Fri, Dec 4 (+5 more dates) · 7:30 PM · Milburn Stone Theatre at Cecil College, North East · From $16 · checked Oct 24.
