Families can make a holiday wreath from leftover evergreen tree branches that would otherwise be thrown away at this Eco-Family workshop at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown. The zoo supplies the branches, frame, decorations and wire, and participants bring the creativity, leaving with a finished natural wreath and an idea of how to decorate for the season with less environmental impact. The workshop runs from 1 to 3 pm on Saturday, December 12, in the zoo's DC Classroom. The cost is $15 per wreath, registration is required, and payment is collected at the start of the program; in-person payments are cashless.
