Children can tell him their wishes and pose for pictures against the square's holiday lights, then stay for the free Electrical Spectacle Light Show, which plays every half hour in the evening. Visits run 5 to 7 pm on Friday and Saturday November 27 and 28 and on the Saturdays December 5, 12 and 19. It is an easy, drop-in way to see Santa in Old City, with the carousel, holiday mini golf and SquareBurger nearby for families who want to make an evening of it. Historic Philadelphia's page does not list a fee for the Santa visits themselves. ## Similar picks in Philadelphia - [Electrical Spectacle Light Show at Franklin Square](https://grassyknees.com/philadelphia/activities/electrical-spectacle-light-show-at-franklin-square--listing-957c83f41487a9eef49a306e) — Nov 19 – Feb 28 · 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM · Franklin Square · All ages · Free · checked Oct 24.
