Families can see the historic railroad equipment up close, hand over a toy, and enjoy family-friendly activities at select stops. It is not a passenger excursion, so no train ticket is needed and nobody rides; children simply come to the stop that suits them. The midday stop is at the railroad's South Woodstown Station; the train also stops earlier in Salem and later in Swedesboro. Last year the route collected 368 toys, and the railroad hopes to beat that. A nice way to show children a working train and talk about giving during the season. ## Similar picks in Philadelphia - [Santa's Express — West Chester Railroad](https://grassyknees.com/philadelphia/activities/santa-s-express-west-chester-railroad--listing-bc5afaaf8a9d0249b3dbfc7f) — Sat, Nov 21 (+10 more dates) · 11:00 AM · Market Street Station, West Chester · Paid · checked Oct 20.
