## About

Live Arizona reptiles visit Mesquite Library in northeast Phoenix: a Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary volunteer brings a western diamondback rattlesnake, a Gila monster, a gopher snake, a kingsnake and a Sonoran desert tortoise, and explains which Arizona reptiles are venomous and which are not, how they live, and how families can stay safe and coexist with them on hikes and in the backyard. A practical 45-minute session for kids who are curious (or nervous) about snakes. Free; pick up a ticket at the desk, since space in the meeting room is limited.
