Phoenix Parks and Recreation's Halloween Monster Bash brings a free evening of family fun to Desert West Park in west Phoenix. There is live music, candy, inflatables and a costume contest for kids ages 3 to 12, so it works best for preschoolers through grade-schoolers who want to show off their costumes. The event runs two hours on a Friday evening; bring a bag for treats and come dressed up. Flyers are available in English and Spanish.
