The festival area adds a historic hayride through the Encanto Park neighborhood (one of Phoenix's first planned communities), a bungee trampoline, a cake walk, a corn box to dig in, a petting zoo, carnival games such as ring toss and a pumpkin fish pond, pumpkin golf and pumpkin bowling, oversized tic-tac-toe and several bounce houses and slides. Everyone entering the festival area needs a wristband, including year-pass holders; families can buy festival-only access or a combined wristband that also covers the park's rides all day, which is the better deal for preschoolers who will want the carousel and train too.
