November's LEGO Club challenge at Chandler's Sunset Library asks builders to make geometric shapes and symmetrical snowflake-style crystal patterns from standard bricks, a sneaky lesson in symmetry. Kids can follow the challenge or free build, practising creativity, problem solving and teamwork, and Bricks & Minifigs Chandler partners on the monthly themes. It is a drop-in hour for ages 6 to 12 in the Monsoon Room after school on a Monday; registration is not required, but the library warns it is popular and space is limited, so arrive on time. Grown-ups are welcome to build alongside.
