## About

Children's author Kathie McMahon visits HD SOUTH to talk about her award-winning eight-book chapter series Mortimer and Me, about an 8-year-old boy and his friend Mortimer the moose, and to read from Moose in Training, the first book of her new Mortimer and Lily series. Illustrator Tanja Bauerle shows kids how to draw a moose, then there are activities for children and a book signing. Recommended for ages 6 to 10 — early chapter-book readers. Free, but registration is required.
