Players bring their own Nerf-style blaster, and the town supplies the ammunition (regular foam darts) plus the eye protection everyone wears on the field. The hour is built around organized games such as Capture the Flag and Battle Royale, so it rewards teamwork and a bit of strategy as much as aim, and parents are welcome to join their kids rather than watch from the sidelines. Entry is a $2 drop-in fee per person; the event page mentions no advance registration. Since the town provides only regular darts, check that your blaster takes standard darts before you come. Questions go to the recreation contact listed on the event page. ## Similar picks in Phoenix - [Shape Up Us Family Fun Community Event — Glendale](https://grassyknees.com/phoenix/activities/shape-up-us-family-fun-community-event-glendale--listing-13ee6ccbdb48faf82aeac28e) — Sat, Nov 7 · 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM · Heroes Regional Park, Glendale · Free · checked Oct 20.
