Fountain Hills' free town Halloween party fills the Four Peaks Park ballfields with more than 25 trick-or-treat booths run by community partners, each with games and candy, from 5 to 8 p.m. The inflatables zone is big this year, with two obstacle courses, three slides and an inflatable corn maze, so there is something for toddlers through tweens. Magic Matt's Funny Magic for Kids performs at 5:15, 6:15 and 7:15 p.m., a DJ runs the dance floor, and food trucks sell dinner and treats. The costume contest starts at 6:40 p.m. with youth, adult and family categories and prizes; no registration needed, just be on the dance floor by 6:30. Come in costume and bring a candy bag.
