Each monthly session explores a theme through studio time and gallery exploration designed for the earliest learners, using art viewing and making to deepen the emotional connection between caregiver and child, support visual development and encourage early communication. The December session runs for 45 minutes on a Thursday morning. Registration is required through the museum's online system, and Carnegie Museums members receive a discount. ## Similar picks in Pittsburgh - [Day Off at the Museum (Ages 6–10) at Carnegie Museum of Art](https://grassyknees.com/pittsburgh/activities/day-off-at-the-museum-ages-6-10-at-carnegie-museum-of-art--listing-ad3d6bf53d7f670ba36f3d6d) — Fri, Nov 27 (+1 more date) · 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM · Carnegie Museum of Art – Art Studio · Ages 6–10 · From $85 · checked Oct 24.
