Phipps' Fall Flower Show combines Alice in Wonderland-themed displays with chrysanthemums in many shapes and colors and a few spooky surprises: the Cheshire Cat's tree covered in cobwebs and cascading yellow mums in Palm Court, ten chrysanthemum obelisks around the Sunken Garden, the Mad Hatter's Tea Party as a fall feast in the East Room, and larger-than-life ladybug topiaries in the Serpentine Room. Phipps has created chrysanthemum shows since 1894. Walk-ins welcome; advance tickets encouraged.
