- Kiski Valley Turkey Trot
The Kiski Valley Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving-morning charity race at Kunkle Park in Apollo, with a 5K and a 1-mile fun run that the organizers describe as a community event for the whole family and for serious or casual runners and walkers of all ages. The 5K starts at 9:00 am on a certified out-and-back course, is digitally timed by Miles for Smiles, and ends with an awards ceremony (runners must be present to receive awards). The 1-mile fun run stays inside the park, starts shortly after the 5K and is not timed, which makes it the easier choice for children and families walking together. Entry is $30 for the 1-mile and $35 for the 5K, or $45 and $50 with a hooded sweatshirt instead of the event T-shirt; the shirt and hoodie deadline is November 15. Registration on RunSignup closes November 24 at 11:59 pm and is non-refundable. Packets can be picked up the evening before or on race morning.

What was checked & what still needs confirmation
Organizer's RunSignup race page; found via web search. RunSignup lists both events as 9:00AM–10:00AM EST; the race description says the 1-mile starts shortly after the 5K. Packet pickup location is not printed on the main page. The page keeps an old note about moving runners to a virtual race if public-health limits apply.
