Phipps Conservatory and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre present Poinsettias and Pointe Shoes, a family-friendly evening of Nutcracker vignettes inside the historic glasshouse. Pre-professional students of the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School dance excerpts from Terrence S. Orr's The Nutcracker, including the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy, and tickets include Conservatory admission for a preview of the Holiday Magic poinsettias and evergreens. The current header lists performances on Monday, November 23 at 5:30, 6:45 and 8 p.m. and Tuesday, November 24 at 5:30 and 6:45 p.m. Seating is unassigned and doors open 30 minutes before each show.
