## About

Run Santa Run turns South Park into a sea of Santas, elves and reindeer each December. Families can pick the 5K (9:00 AM), the one-mile Jolly Mile (9:05 AM) or the Great Elf Rescue Race, a 100-meter dash at 8:45 AM, and participants are encouraged to come in Santa suits, elf ears and other holiday costumes. The organizers note easy parking and say the race sells out every year. For more than 20 years the event has supported Amachi Pittsburgh, and participants are invited to bring an unwrapped toy or make a donation to help local kids in need.
