The Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia (ACCA) brings live birds of prey to Meadowcroft. ACCA's Katie and Jesse Fallon cover the bald eagle's natural history, its decline and recovery through conservation, and the threats it still faces. They also tell the story of Hutch, a wild eaglet rescued after swallowing a fishhook who recovered through surgery and rehabilitation. The History Center lists the hour-long talk under Kids & Families, and it is included with museum admission.
