The race begins at 9 a.m., and the YMCA's announcement says children 6 and under take part free, so younger kids can walk the course with a parent while older children run; age-group awards start with a 7–10 bracket. Signing up early costs less and secures a race shirt, and the fee rises closer to Thanksgiving and again on race day. Parking is beside the neighboring Burger King. This year's race is held in memory of David Chiafullo and is presented by Phil Fitts Ford & Lincoln. ## Similar picks in Pittsburgh - [YMCA Turkey Trot 1 Mile Family Fun Run](https://grassyknees.com/pittsburgh/activities/ymca-turkey-trot-1-mile-family-fun-run--listing-4da41d2b68bf053695225cba) — Thu, Nov 26 · 9:30 AM · YMCA Turkey Trot start area (810 River Avenue, North Side) · Paid · checked Oct 14.
