Cornelius Public Library and OCDC invite the community to honor departed loved ones for Day of the Dead by building a shared altar together and enjoying traditional pan de muerto. The afternoon program is bilingual (English and Spanish) and open to all ages, so families can bring children to help decorate the altar and learn about the tradition. It runs for two hours on Sunday afternoon at the library in downtown Cornelius.
