## About

Santa Cares is Washington Square's sensory-friendly visit with Santa, held on a Sunday morning before the mall's regular public hours so children and adults with autism, other disabilities or special needs can meet Santa in a calmer setting. During the hour no music plays in the mall and the fluorescent lights and digital signage are switched off, and the set is arranged to support sensory, physical and developmental needs. The session runs at Santa's set in Summit Court and is offered in partnership with Cherry Hill Programs and Autism Speaks. Children can sit with Santa, share their wish lists and take their time without the noise and lines of a busy December afternoon. Visiting Santa is free; families who want a printed or digital photo can buy a photo package on site. Space is limited, so register in advance through the mall's Santa booking page.
