The 2026-27 festival is themed 'Christ, Light of Peace', inspired by Isaiah's vision of a little child leading a wounded world toward peace, with the manger scene at its heart. Families walk the illuminated grounds after dark, and the shrine also holds holiday Masses during the season. Groups can register in advance through the shrine. Nightly lighting hours and any fees for 2026-27 were not printed on the festival page when checked; call the shrine before visiting. ## Similar picks in Providence - [Rhode Island Lights Festival at Centreville Bank Stadium](https://grassyknees.com/providence/activities/rhode-island-lights-festival-at-centreville-bank-stadium--listing-beb8e463de5e9883edce38e5) — Nov 27 – Jan 3 · Centreville Bank Stadium, Pawtucket · All ages · Paid · checked Oct 24.
