The kids' dash is about a quarter mile for ages 12 and under, and parents may run alongside their children; the girls' race starts at 9:00 am and the boys' race right after. The top three boys and girls get awards, and there is a costume contest run through social media (post a photo and tag the organizer), so come dressed up. The 5K for grown-ups starts at 10:00 am and walkers are welcome; strollers must start at the back.
