## About

The Town of Apex's 28th annual Turkey Trot is a 5K through Apex Community Park and around its lake on the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Runners choose Competitive (chip-timed, eligible for age-group awards) or Recreational (untimed, same course and T-shirt), and there are youth prices for children 12 and under — a good first race for school-age kids running with a parent. Registration is capped at 600 and has filled about a month ahead in recent years, so register early through the Town's ActiveNet site. Note the Lake Pine lot will be closed; check the parking map.
