## About

A 300-acre park in southeastern Wake County on land farmed since the late 1700s, now with agriculture areas, an orchard and a Great Lawn. Inside the Park Center, a winding exhibit hallway covers the history of the land, its natural features and the sustainable design that earned the park SITES certification. The playground has a climbing wall, a tall tower slide and swings for ages 2–12, with a covered picnic area next to it. ADA-accessible chip-and-seal trails lead through a longleaf pine savannah to a bluff overlook, mulch and dirt trails loop off it, and the paved paths around the orchard and Great Lawn are open to bikes.
