## About

A relaxed introduction to birding at Prairie Ridge Ecostation. The group walks slowly for about a mile through several habitats, learning how to spot and identify common birds, and hears about the collaborative science projects where your sightings can be submitted as data. It is a good first outing for a nature-curious child of 8 or older with a parent, and no experience is needed; bring binoculars if you have them. The program runs two hours on a Thursday morning, so it suits homeschool and track-out families. Pre-registration is required.
