The library invites visitors of all ages to come by, listen to the joyous brass music and pick up winter reads at the same time, so the hour works as a drop-in stop after school: children can hear trumpets, horns and tubas up close, sing along to familiar carols, and then check out holiday books. There is no ticket or registration and the program is free. Brass instruments are loud in a small space, so families with noise-sensitive children may want to sit toward the back or bring ear protection. ## Similar picks in Raleigh - [Holiday Music by Triangle Folk Ensemble — Eva Perry Regional Library, Apex](https://grassyknees.com/raleigh/activities/holiday-music-by-triangle-folk-ensemble-eva-perry-regional-library-ape--listing-321ed65750140e807266c4ec) — Sat, Dec 12 · 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM · Eva Perry Regional Library, Apex · All ages · Free · checked Oct 27.
