## About

A winter-break Young People's Concert from the North Carolina Symphony, conducted by Sophie Mok, built around fantasy-world film music: the icy kingdom of Frozen, the enchanted lands of Narnia and the journeys of The Lord of the Rings. Free kid-friendly activities open in the lobby one hour before each performance, including the Instrument Zoo where children can try real orchestral instruments. Two shows on Saturday, January 2, at 1 pm and 4 pm in Meymandi Concert Hall — a good outing for school-age children while schools are still on break.
