Snowplow Sam 1 (ages 3–5) and Basic 1 (ages 6–12) need no experience: skaters learn to fall and stand up on their own and progress to swizzles and backward skating; parents do not go on the ice with the 3–5 class. Higher Snowplow Sam and Basic levels and an Adult/Teen class (13+) follow. Each registered skater gets unlimited public skating at all five Polar Ice rinks for the length of the session, skate rental included.
