## About

North Carolina's first public park (1887) and one of the oldest operating amusement parks in the country. Kids can ride the historic carousel and the miniature train, take out pedal boats or kiddie boats, and play on four separate playground areas: a preschool playground for ages 2–5 enclosed by fence and plantings, a school-age climb-and-slide area for ages 5–12, a sand play area with diggers, a playhouse and music-making equipment, and a swing area with bucket, accessible and tire swings. The park also has Pullen Aquatic Center (indoor 50-meter pool), Pullen Arts Center classes, Theatre in the Park, tennis courts, ball fields, picnic shelters and the Pullen Place Cafe near the Welcome Center. Ride tickets are sold at the Welcome Center and online.
