## About

A Thanksgiving-week nature program at Harris Lake County Park about wild turkeys. Children learn that turkeys are fast runners and fliers and make many sounds besides gobbling, see a turkey mount up close, and play a game strutting like a turkey to gather food before winter. For all ages; it runs one hour on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, handy for kids off school. Free, but all children and adults must register. Meet at the Cypress Shelter and bring a water bottle.
