Instead of sitting in seats, the audience walks with the dancers as the performance moves along the garden paths, which keeps children engaged and makes it a relaxed introduction to modern dance for school-age kids and families. The performance lasts about an hour and 15 minutes outdoors. Viewers are asked to keep a respectful distance and avoid contact with the dancers. No reservations are needed, and parking and admission are free; wear comfortable walking shoes and sun protection. Outdoor programs may be changed or cancelled for rain, lightning or strong wind. ## Similar picks in Riverside - [Sun Printing (Cyanotype) Family Workshop at Sunnylands](https://grassyknees.com/riverside/activities/sun-printing-cyanotype-family-workshop-at-sunnylands--listing-c30c4b9f09af3028e8aa48ee) — Sat, Nov 14 · 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM · Sunnylands Center & Gardens, Rancho Mirage · Ages 8+ · From $88.35 · checked Oct 16.
