A free Halloween-night harvest carnival hosted by RFT Ministries at Riverside Faith Temple on Pennsylvania Avenue in Riverside's Eastside. The church invites families, friends and neighbors for an evening of carnival games, food, music and fellowship, offered as a church-hosted alternative to door-to-door trick-or-treating on October 31. It runs from 6 to 9 pm and everyone is welcome, so it suits families with children of any age; younger children may do best in the first hour. The listing does not say whether costumes are encouraged or whether food is free, so bring a little cash just in case. Questions can go to the event contact, Cassandra Davis, at cdavis4999@gmail.com.
