Signing Storytime at the San Bernardino County Museum introduces families to American Sign Language through a picture book. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, Miss Melissa reads 'Monster Hands' by Karen Kane and Jonaz McMillan in the Hall of Biodiversity's Gone Camping exhibit, teaching simple ASL signs from the story that families practice together. Afterwards children make a hands-on art project to take home, with resources for practicing their new signs. Sessions start at 10:30 am and 11:30 am. The program is included with museum admission: $10 adults, $5 children 6–12, free for children five and under. The series runs on the fourth Saturday of each month.
