A morning program about bats at the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument Visitor Center in Palm Desert on Sunday, October 25, 2026, 9:00-10:30 am, sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management in partnership with Friends of the Desert Mountains. RSVP is required through the Eventbrite registration link on the event page. The visitor center is on Highway 74 about four miles south of Highway 111 and has an accessible garden trail around the building for families to explore before or after.
