The organizers list comfortable seating, lawn games, pop-up vendors and a Letters to Santa station, which is open longer, from 11 AM to 5 PM, so children can write and drop off their notes to the North Pole. It works well as a daytime stop before the evening Theatre of Lights shows on the same street (Friday through Sunday at 6:30 PM), or as a break during holiday shopping in the historic district. The street is closed from Friday at 4 PM through Sunday night, so use the Old Sacramento garages at the district entrance. Expect an outdoor setting on the waterfront: dress for December weather. ## Similar picks in Sacramento - [Elk Grove Lions Holiday Parade of Lights](https://grassyknees.com/sacramento/activities/elk-grove-lions-holiday-parade-of-lights--listing-f32529879281ab27af56ce66) — Sat, Nov 28 · 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM · Elk Grove Boulevard, Old Town Elk Grove (Cosumnes CSD building to 2nd Street) · Free · checked Oct 28.
