The musical follows James as he escapes his miserable life with two cruel aunts and sails off inside an enormous peach with a crew of oversized insect friends, learning what home really means along the way. The JR. version is a shortened adaptation written for young casts and young audiences, which suits school-age children and families with kids who already love the book. Performances run over one December weekend in the historic downtown Woodland theater; tickets are sold on the Opera House's Arts People page. ## Similar picks in Sacramento - [Lights! Camera!
