Each month has two new class topics, repeated on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so families can pick the day that works; most families sign up for two days a month. It is not a drop-off program: a parent or guardian stays with the child. Classes usually fill, so places are reserved first come, first served through the center's registration form, and completing the form commits you to attend and pay for the classes chosen. Drop-ins are possible only if you email first, since classes are often full. The 2026–27 program calendar is posted as an image on the program page. ## Similar picks in Sacramento - [Placer Nature Center Fall Open House — Auburn](https://grassyknees.com/sacramento/activities/placer-nature-center-fall-open-house-auburn--listing-28bb715307abd593f33c2620) — Sat, Oct 31 (+1 more date) · 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM · Placer Nature Center, Auburn · checked Oct 24.
