## About

Orangevale Recreation & Park District's free community holiday evening at the Orangevale Community Center. Families can take a train ride, join children's holiday activities, have refreshments and visit Santa (the district suggests bringing a camera for your own Santa photo) before the community tree is lit. Everything at the event is free. The 90-minute format, starting at 6 p.m., works well for toddlers and young children who need an early night, and it is a neighborly, small-town alternative to the large downtown lightings.
