The route starts at W. 2nd Street and ends at Curved Bridge Road, and spectators watch from the sidewalks along M Street. Organizers suggest arriving early to claim a viewing spot, bringing blankets and hot cocoa because December evenings get chilly, and bringing a camera for the lights. The parade goes on rain or shine, though it can be cancelled if severe weather makes it unsafe. A start time has not been posted yet, so check the parade's website or Facebook page closer to the date. ## Similar picks in Sacramento - [Festival of Lights Parade — Auburn](https://grassyknees.com/sacramento/activities/festival-of-lights-parade-auburn--listing-2c69ca765fcd42772d6e0553) — Sat, Dec 5 · 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM · Downtown Auburn · All ages · checked Oct 21.
