Thousands of people take part, from serious runners to families strolling the course together, and every registration funds a turkey for a family facing hunger. Children aged 4 to 11 can register at a reduced child rate when racing with a registered adult, and kids 3 and under take part free (a shirt can be bought for them). Pick up bibs and shirts at one of the packet pick-up days the week before (TriPoint on N. St. Mary's, Concordia Lutheran on Huebner Road, or the Food Bank on Old Hwy 90) or on site on race morning.
