An instructor demonstrates the week's techniques, then each participant gets clay and tools to shape, build and add details at their own pace; no experience is needed. Participants choose a glaze at the end, and the museum's team glazes and fires the piece, ready for pickup about four weeks later, which lands the plate home before Christmas. All materials are included and clothes may get dirty. Book ahead through the ticket portal; a CLAYTOGETHER promo code discounts additional seats for families booking together. ## Similar picks in San Diego - [Clay Together: Ceramic Holiday Ornaments (Ages 5+) at The New Children's Museum](https://grassyknees.com/san-diego/activities/clay-together-ceramic-holiday-ornaments-ages-5-at-the-new-children-s-m--listing-36992798daffc4378962829c) — Sun, Nov 22 · The New Children's Museum · Ages 5+ · From $90 · checked Oct 24.
