The Classics Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Dana Zimbric, plays an all-American program for all ages marking the 250th anniversary of the United States and the museum's centennial, with works by Aaron Copland, Duke Ellington, George Gershwin, Ferde Grofé, Gwyneth Walker and John Williams, an Armed Forces Salute for Veterans Day, and 'The Stars and Stripes Forever' and 'The Star-Spangled Banner'. Images of American masterpieces from the museum's collection are projected during the music, so children can watch as well as listen. The concert lasts one hour in the museum's James S. Copley Auditorium.
