The roughly 75-minute ride leaves from the Old Town Market ticket booth and loops past festive light displays while a narrator shares local holiday traditions; riders join in sing-along caroling, with lyric books and candy canes handed out on board, according to a review quoted on the operator's page. It is a seated, weather-proof way for families with small children or grandparents to see lights without walking. Check in at the ticket booth 30 minutes before departure (seating is first come, first served), and book a specific departure time online; reservation tickets are non-refundable but can be rescheduled up to 24 hours ahead. Parking at the Old Town Market is free. There are no tours on December 25 or December 31. ## Similar picks in San Diego - [North Pole Limited Holiday Train — Campo](https://grassyknees.com/san-diego/activities/north-pole-limited-holiday-train-campo--listing-bb8b2261b1a4a44bf1d61816) — Fri, Nov 27 (+11 more dates) · 5:00 PM · Campo Depot (Campo Railroad Museum) · All ages · From $15 · checked Oct 16.
