## About

On Halloween morning the Solana Beach Fire Department opens its station to families, and costumes are encouraged. Visitors can tour the fire station, meet firefighters and other first responders, learn hands-only CPR and take a short safety education course. This year's fire-prevention theme is lithium-ion batteries in the home, with simple tips on buying, charging, using and disposing of the rechargeable batteries in phones, laptops, e-bikes and power tools. The Rockademy School of Music provides live music. The open house runs four hours, so it fits easily before evening trick-or-treating.
