Santa visits, and the afternoon is packed with activities for children: a goodie bag, a photo booth, a DJ, a bounce house, a face painter, a fire truck to explore, a petting zoo, a rock climbing wall and arts and crafts. Entry is tied to the holiday toy drive: families are admitted free when they contribute a toy to Toys for Tots, so bring one along. The event runs from 11 AM to 3 PM, which makes it easy to fit around naps or a morning activity, and the center's grounds include a large open-space park with a gazebo and a children's play area. A flyer with more details is linked from the center's page. ## Similar picks in San Diego - [Winter Wonderland Festival — California Center for the Arts, Escondido](https://grassyknees.com/san-diego/activities/winter-wonderland-festival-california-center-for-the-arts-escondido--listing-d4558f60a446ba2e2c6cd245) — Sat, Dec 5 (+1 more date) · 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM · California Center for the Arts, Escondido · Free · checked Oct 16.
