The in-person race starts at 8:00 AM on Thanksgiving morning, and a virtual option can be completed anywhere between Nov 25 and Dec 6. Pricing is tiered by age, so school-age children (4–9 and 10–18) pay much less than adults, and children 3 and under can join without registering. Strollers pushed by an adult are allowed, but dogs, bikes, scooters and skateboards are not. Every participant receives a 2026 race T-shirt and a finisher medal; registrations from Nov 1 pick a shirt size at packet pickup. Packet pickup is Wednesday Nov 25, 3–7 PM, at Pioneer Elementary School, or on race morning until 7:50 AM. Race-day registration is offered only if the race has not sold out. ## Similar picks in San Francisco - [Moraga Turkey Trot (5K and 1.5-mile family run/walk)](https://grassyknees.com/san-francisco/activities/moraga-turkey-trot-5k-and-1-5-mile-family-run-walk--listing-08e7a007ba2f8b2885304cd0) — Thu, Nov 26 · 8:05 AM – 10:00 AM · Moraga Country Club (cart path) · All ages · From $39.50 · checked Oct 27.
